The Women in Architecture committee is launching a new component to its annual Recognition program this year. One recently licensed woman architect, demonstrating strong leadership skills and commitment to the growth and advancement of our profession, will win a $500 stipend towards travel and miscellaneous expenses at the New Orleans National Convention in 2011.
Eligible candidates must have achieved licensure between November 2009 and November 2010 in New York City. To enter, submit an essay of not more than 500 words describing your leadership role in the professional community, along with 2 letters of recommendation and proof of licensure to email@example.com by 5pm on November 22. The winner will be announced on December 16th during the WIA annual Holiday Party.
